Jeff Rach started Osakis Area Driving School in 2003. What began as a side gig for Jeff while he found an open teaching position quickly became his full-time passion! By word of mouth, he grew the business, starting with Osakis and eventually branching out to surrounding towns. As retirement age approached, he asked his eldest daughter, Shanel Lund, if she wanted to take over the family business. Shanel studied child psychology in college and found that owning a driving school and teaching teens to drive was perfectly suited for her.

At Osakis Area Driving School, we teach in in-person classrooms with a hands-on approach to help engage our students in learning. We understand how chaotic life can be for you and your teenager, that's why we offer at-home pick-up and drop-off within a 10-mile radius of your school district.
